"The UFO fell from the sky on the night of December 20, 1962, the week of my thirteenth birthday." So begins this extraordinary coming-of-age novel, set in the troubled 1960s, which explores the boundary between reality and imagination--and what happens when that boundary begins to blur.

  • Just started reading this a few days ago. It's pretty good so far.

  • I just finished this novel. There aren't many debut novelists who can write this well.

  • This book is quite a ride! Mid-book I realized that the story is considerably bigger than my reading of it. The depth of story telling is remarkably satifying, yet leaves a hunger to know and understand more. I'll be re-reading soon.

  • Congratulations, David! This trailer is great. Any chance you'll record an audiobook version?

  • What a great introduction to the book. Can't wait to see it, David. Congratulations again.

  • Love it! I want to read David's book!

  • Good job, Alison!
