CURVES OF SORROW

The smell of beer
still lingers in the air
Better leave now
while the coast is clear.

A wasted life
Recaptures the past
Little does he know
The a shadow has been cast.

Another drink
Soon it fills his glass

The road that would have led him
Far from this place
The road that could have very well
