J. J. Hickson (born September 4, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA by whom he was selected, 19th overall, in the 2008 NBA Draft.

Hickson scored four points in his first NBA game against the Charlotte Bobcats, making one field goal and two free throws. On November 26, 2008 Hickson had career-highs with 14 points, six rebounds and four blocks against the Oklahoma City Thunder. On January 2, 2009, he also set career highs for three throws made (3) and attempted (5). Hickson surpassed his career-high by grabbing seven rebounds on January 13, 2009, against the Memphis Grizzlies. Again on February 24, 2009, he surpassed his previous career-high of 7 rebounds to 9 rebounds against the Memphis Grizzlies.

agreed unfortunately the nba doesn't use videos of rookies very often in their highlights. i mean in their "top 10 blocks of the year" vídeo were some blocks that were not as nice as this one
