Kind of annoying to see all the people whining about how this is not like DQ IX.

Don't get me wrong, i love DQ IX too but it is quite different from the other DQ games with the crafting system, character and party creation, different approach to vocations, etc.

The original DQ games were all pretty much like this one, and i don't really need much to change there.

The only DQ IX feature i am missing here are the more detailed characters and visible gear changes.

Hope they make a 3ds DQ release.

@frostare yeah, nuff said, opinions opinions, I for one loved the fuck out of 9, I personally put in 420 odd hours into it, but I enjoy 8 far more, 3 and 6 being my favorites, and I appreciate any DQ fan out there for supporting it here in the states.

@jbittens101 You... got a point. Heheh, Jessica, Yangus and Angelo might just be the best party members in DQ ever.

Truth be told I don't take the story and characters as THE major aspects in a videogame, even if it's an RPG (and I like to use some of them, like DQIX, as example). However but I won't lie that they add a lot of charisma to it; kinda like graphics, they don't make the game but they add to the awesome factor.
