Rookie West Geauga Superintendent Tom Diringer defended his school's championship against rival Kenston Superintendent Bob Lee a second consecutive year at this year's chicken flying contest. Kaitlyn Lane of Chardon won the hen contest, with her Brown Sugar flying over 28 feet to win that contest as well as the grand champion contest, against Justin Glinski's rooster, Speedo.
