Hot Burrito #1 - Written by Gram Parsons and Chris Ethridge.

--- Lyrics---

You may be sweet and nice
But that won't keep you warm at night
Cause I'm the one who showed you how
to do the things you're doing now

He may feel all your charms
He may hold you in his arms
But I'm the one who let you in
I was right beside you then

Once upon a time you let me feel you deep inside
And nobody knew and nobody saw
Do you remember the way you cried

I'm your toy I'm your old boy
But I don't want no-one but you
To love me no I wouldn't lie
You know I'm that kind of guy

Once upon a time you let me feel you deep inside
And nobody knew and nobody saw
Do you remember the way you cried

I'm your toy I'm your old boy
But I don't want no-one but you
To love me no I wouldn't lie
You know I'm that kind of guy

  • THis is confusing to watch w/ the gram picks and gene singing. But I guess because it's more of a tribute performance that's appropriate. I enjoyed it.

  • It's not Gram singing! It's Gene...Doesn't sound sweet enough to be Gram. Gene joined after Gram had long gone. Well that's how it sounds to me anyhow. I'm sure the info's out there, although Gram did write it of course...A

  • this song makes me hungry for a buritto

  • when was the version done? after the death of the death of gram?

  • Did Jimmy Page kype the intro for his Rain Song??

  • G Gmaj7 G7 E7 Am D

  • Sounds a little like Raul Malo from the Mavericks .

  • @noelliam67 This version starts with Gmaj, Gmaj7, G7, E7 then to Am. Gram Parsons version has a nice intro.

His verion is in F though.
