Hi! I am Kelly Chang Rickert (formerly Kelly Yi-Yi Chang. I am a divorce and family lawyer here in Los Angeles. And I was a major dork in college! At UCLA, I made superstar appearance on Price is Right. See what happens! Remember, it was 1994, and oh yeah, I don't think I'm a dork anymore.

  • I call that a super win Kelly

  • Nice job. Interesting that there was a plane included in that showcase. In the behind the scenes book written by musical director Stan Blits, among the did-you-know facts mentioned was "There was 1 airplane given away". I guess that's the thing that made this one unique. If Bob Barker was hosting this episode, he would call it "a historic moment". Congratulations, Kelly!

  • "You have won over $28,000 worth of... things!"

  • TPiR '94 was not great, but needed a better host like Vince McMahon, Mike Tenay, Pat Finn, Bob Backlund, Todd Newton, or...Donny Osmond.

  • What happened at the end of the showcase that caused that crazy edit?

  • Hey, Kelly, congratulations! I also thought you had lost there, since Davidson Showcases usually weren't that low on the scale.

Do you remember, perchance, either the episode number or tapedate? The episode number would be something like "#00xxN", with the "xx" being a number from 01 to 80.

I can help you narrow it down -- the opening sequence for this episode (featuring pilot/daytime shots) was used for the first half of the run (01-40).

  • Actually, two or three airplanes were offered on the Kennedy version, and at least one toward the end of the James version.

  • It was TnPIR 94

  • Here's a question: doesn't the wizard look like the guardian of the gate of innovation from masters of the maze from jd roth?
