  • Hey guys, i have a question. Do u place the palm on the sternum or is it the palm heel. Please respond. thanks :) Great tutorial, thanks for posting

  • @ATACXGYMJUDO yup she won no-gi worlds in 2009 and took 2nd in 2011.

  • @alexforcefive perfect explaination

  • @yukonajr her hand is low enough that he couldn't push his hips up for the armbar. If her hand was on the shoulder it'd be a different situation

  • @yukonajr exactly what i was thinking

  • What if Stephen attempts an armbar while you are applying pressure on the sternum?

  • @ATACXGYMJUDO Dang dude, you have a lot of striking experience. I did taekwondo for 6 years, then I trained in boxing for 3 yers, then Muay Thai for 1 year, and I have been in BJJ for 3 yrs, and Judo for a year. I am still currently training in BJJ and Judo. I decided to master grappling because i felt confident striking and I felt like my grappling was lacking.

  • @jamesthera word up and well said my friend.

  • @ATACXGYMJUDO 2 words my friend. SETTING UP

  • @jamesthera Ohhhh I see.Thank you for letting me know man.I strike quite a bit too...not only am I also a Muay Thai Coach (ATACXGYMMUAYTHAI),but I have decades in boxing,taekwondo,kenpo karate,shaolin kempo,5 animals gungfu,hapkido,and many others.From a striker's perspective? Use the head shoulder feint+jab step as a setup,fire the palm strike like you're shooting a jab,pass and you're in the game no prob.Strike into your grips,throws,sweeps and passes,and clinches.
