Ragam: Rishabapriya Talam: Aadi
In Indian mythology, Lord Shiva is considered as the supreme Lord of dance. When Lord Shiva shook his hand drum, the world beat its first rhythm. As he moved his body in tune with its beat, the universe came into being. The dancing shiva is the "Nataraja". The famous dance that was performed by Lord Shiva is known as the aspects of Thandavam. There are seven aspects of Thandavam. They are Ananda Thandavam. Tiripura Thandavam, Sandya Thandavam, Uma Thandavam, and Gauri Thandavam. The Ananda Thandavam is performed with happiness and joy. Deepa will perform and describe the Ananda Thandavam.
