Dont frown too much over casualties... If it goes on like this you could probably start decorating the interior of the skyranger with baroque-ish elerium ornaments, you know, just for the bling of it. Maybe you could even hand out elerium rings and chains to rookies to boost their morale.

@SpraxIAKS Well, it's been 6 months since you commented, but there IS a new XCOM coming out, and this one is turn-based, just like the original. Made by Firaxis, the same guys who make the Civilization series and all that. Comes out this Fall, potentially. You might want to look it up, it promises to be really good, based on what I've seen. I'd post a link, but YouTube hates them.

Yeah, they claim they have elerium and other elements that made this one great. I'm not even sad that's its a fps. I always thought a well done xcom fps would be a great perspective. Imagine the first missions at night as your team is killed by plasma blasts from hidden aliens. But black goo monsters? Bleh.
