  • I intend to use this song as a guide to meet girls.

  • I can't hear it either

  • @darkdude436:

Well, Pop Song 89 roughly played like this - is some kinda punk.

REM are big admirers of WIRE (check my WIRE - playlist inside my channel) - they even did covers of one or two WIRE songs......

  • @RabbiJochanan cool!

in what kind of fanclub are ya?

  • in my humble opinion, mcs doesn't convey the subtler, more angsty gestalt of this song.

  • Hey. I was at this show! Best concert ever! 700 people in an old factory building... Add that the tickets were free and we got free drinks (REM fanclub)!

This was the opener of the show. I was hoping for either this or "I took you name" as opener, so I guess I got lucky.

Best moment of the show was when they came back out for the encore and Peter Buck started playing the opening chords of "life and how to live it". That was a magical moment!

Performance of "These days" was great too!

  • it's the end of the world as we know it (and i feel fine) was not released on warner bros records and their Best of collection only included songs r.e.m. have released since they've been signed to that label.
