Some people on here were asking how I mount my camera in my airplane. Here are a few pictures of how it is done. The camera is an AIPTEK IS-DV. The platform is custom made from liteply and balsa. It is screwed into four blocks that I epoxied to the airframe so that I can remove the platform to access the reciever.

  • I fly without the window installed. As far as the struts go, one detached at the fuselage on the maiden flight. I tried to side slip on the landing, but it broke anyway. I just haven't got around to fixing it yet.

  • Excellent..!!! I was on the right track to figure out how you mounted the camera. Did you remove the right side window just to show the camera mount... or do you fly it without the side window? Do the struts block that much view area... because they are never installed in any of your airborn videos as yet. Thanks for showing us the how-to.
