@cheifguggletram Oh yes, I've heard of Don Arden and Small Faces. Wasn't he the one who told their parents that the band had spent all their earnings on drugs?

@sloopjamesb I've got every Badfinger album from "No Dice" to "Wish You Were Here" and I thought that's where the story ended. NOW I've learned about "Head First" and heck, I'm hearing MORE incredible songs from the band when they still had Pete! Ah, the list of deplorable managers eh? Four I can think of....Stan Polley, Terry Knight who managed Grand Funk Railroad, Matthew Katz who managed Moby Grape, and Bob Markley who managed West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band.

@sloopjamesb Bob Jackson rules. Love his and Tommy Evans' band Dodgers, as well. Having said that, Wish You Were Here was simply majestic and Joey left at at a time when he could no longer tolerate Stan Polley and his evil ways.

Agree so much, greatest "un released LP ever" there's like 5 or more GREAT songs and nothing I don't like on it at all. Not enough people know this CD. I even like that it has Bob Jackson and no Joey (sorry dude). And the last comment I agree with you, Stan should rot in hell for what he, eventually, drove Pete too. Badfinger forever!!!!

Finally!!! Thanks for the post.
Amazing how hard these guys worked and the amount of material released. All in the face of backstabbing, lies, broken promises, etc. We were lucky to have had them for the time we did. The music's always there to enjoy. Thanks Pete, Tom, Joey, Bob, & Mike.... not you Stan Polley, soulless bastard!
