The Israeli army says forensic teams have begun tests to identify two bodies turned over by Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon. Two black coffins were turned over to the Red Cross earlier today. The coffins are believed to contain the bodies of Israeli soldiers captured two years ago. A top U-S diplomat will take part in a weekend meeting with Iran's chief nuclear negotiator. The talks are aimed at persuading Iran to halt activities that could lead to the development of atomic weapons. A senior U-S official says diplomat William Burns is going to the meeting to demonstrate U-S commitment to a negotiated deal. Fed chairman Ben Bernanke will be back on Capitol Hill today. This time testifying before the House. On Tuesday, Bernanke told a Senate panel that policymakers are facing "significant challenges" as they try to find a way to right the economy. The 2008 World Series will open up in an American League ballpark. That's because the A-L won last night's marathon all-star game, which lasted 15 innings and nearly five hours. Michael Young hit a sacrafice fly in the bottom of the 15th, scoring Justin Morneau. Final score: four to three.   • Obama has to be so proud. Bush and McCain are following his suggestions. Begin withdrawing from Iraq, more troops in Afghanistan and talks with Iran. Our Pakistan policy will have to be reworked from the ground up.

    Does anyone think McCain is up to this challange? McCain says Obama can't know what is going on in Iraq without going there. How stupid does he think we are? Maybe he still lives in the world of Morse Code?
