Temasek Regatta 2007 Finals 'Accident'

This clip shows the actual finals race (men) which took place at the Temasek Regatta 2007 @ Bedok Reservoir. Look at how Yuan Ching's boat swirled itself into Victoria School's boat lane TWICE, where the coxwain for Yuan Ching's boat is none nother than their own school student. Chung Cheng High Yishun's boat together with Victoria School's boat were tied head to head at the beginning of the race, before the first close in by Yuan Ching's boat. The first close in caused VS boat to go off course but it wasn't that serious. After a while, YC boat came in so close that VS coxwain had no choice but to sweer right, almost causing a horrible accident with CCHY boat. From there, CCHY and VS boats lost their drive, thus ending in 3rd and 4th place respectively. While Bukit Panjang manage to get a clean race getting 1st and Yuan Ching getting a 2nd place. Yuan Ching claimed that this was a mere 'accident' and this statement blew up a huge controversy among the other schools. Apparently this controversy created a huge outcry amongst reigning champions Victoria School and Chung Cheng (Yishun). Not even an apology was made to the schools from Yuan Ching even after the race.
