  • an easy alternative:

    go to a dirt bike shop

    ask for air filter oil, buy the kind thats not advertised to be water soluble.

    go home, soak a little sponge and rub it all around your rim. done, now you have brakes that work like a on/off switch, and it lasts x100 more than tar on your rim.

    a bottle of it will last you many, many days of riding.

  • awesome vid, great tutorial and explanation, i can now grind my rim with some knowledge, learning pedal ups and find i slip smooth rim no grind yet brand new bike.

  • Be sure to hit your rim with a brush to get all of the metal shavings out of the crevices, and of your pads and chain. Great vid! Get your grind on.
