That's great! One of my ferrets does the same thing. When she wants to get on the bathroom sink she opens the cabinet door, stands on the trash can inside, climbs onto and into the drawer then slides it open and walla she's on top of the sink.

I need to post a vid of that.

One of mine got into a drawer just like that, and I didn't realize it. I opened it on him, and hurt his neck. Has had breathing problems ever since =(

but please be sure to check your local shelter, there are always some in need of new homes, weather they be young or old, they still make great companions. I adopted a 5yr old who still played like a little Kit.

there both sables. An it is difficault to train some, but every ferret is different. Litter training is really easy, my boy Sly (3yrs old) got it the 2nd day, and my newest female (9 months old) is still learning, its day 2 an shes already started using it as well.

Name training an other tricks though can take alot more time, but its well worth it in the end.

As for age, most of the ones you find in petstores will be Kits (young/baby ferrets, under 1yr)
