May 6, 2010 Det Mike Carbone updates the media on murder investigation.

On Monday february 8, 2010 at approximately 6pm Tyrell DUFFUS told his girlfriend that he was returning to their apartment at 20 Falstaff Ave to take care of something.

sometime around 6:30pm Mr. Duffus was drawn to the eigth floor stairwell of this apartment building where it appears he became involved in a conversation with an unknown person or persons. Itw as a tthis time that a firearm was prodcued and Mr. Duffus was shot several times.

At 10:30pm (4hrs later) an occupant of one of the aprtments on the eith floor walked out of his apartment and entered the stairwell where he located Mr. Duffus lying on the floor. Mr. Duffus was pronounced dead at the scene.

Chief William S. Blair, Chief of Police has authorized a $50,000 reward for a witness.

"I am authorizing a reward of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) from the Toronto Police service for evidence leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this murder.

This reward is restricted only to those persons who have not previoulsy
