@TheKickit91 "Young adults learn a bit longer, it is not forced, many I know are proud to be learning. Many view it as a birthright and an incredible gift from G-d."
Teaching religion to children is telling them what to think not how to think. Do you think that Islamic religious indoctrination is a birthright and a gift from Allah?

Correct observation. There are trade colleges for Haredim after high school, and many Haredim work in high tech fields. To answer the question here, of course this is not child abuse. It is a lovely education, and many secular schools wish they could motivate their pupils to debate anything which is being taught.

this is pretty amazing, i wish i could debate my interpretation of books i read so vividly like these boys, look at american schools... if the teacher isn't alive, the class dies.... am i not correct?

"it is not forced, many I know are proud to be learning. Many view it as a birthright and an incredible gift from G-d." Boys (not girls in this case either) also attend Muslim madrasas. I'm sure many of them are proud to be learning solely from the Quran as well and see it as a birthright and an incredible gift from their magic man. That's why it's called religious indoctrination.

@ATouchOfMagic88 (+ @wimsweden) Also, children may not have a choice in learning (just like US law requires all children to attend school), however, they are not being held down with a ruler and told to shut up and pay attention. Most children have an 6/7 hr learning day with normal recess etc. Young adults learn a bit longer, it is not forced, many I know are proud to be learning. Many view it as a birthright and an incredible gift from G-d.
@talyxtaly No it's not.
Way to waste your time reading fiction and learning nothing else.
