First of all, I am going to give Libby the benefit of the doubt and say they are both good but different. Comparing a live stage show video taped on a phone to a professionally filmed movie is just not fair in the first place. But even if Libby had been filmed by a professional, her voice and dance are not even close to the same caliber of world class Uma. But she is good, just not great. Just my opinion. If you listen to the original Broadway cast recording, or any shaky cam recordings from Broadway, they clearly had to lower the key for Uma to belt. Play one belt after the other and it is clearly undeniable. The original belt is spectacular and spine tingling where as this is so lack luster. Libby has the lungs, she has more enthusiasm... which is actually partly because you have to be more exaggerated on stage so the people in the back get the full experience, while on film you go for more realism, as for her figure, she can't compare to Uma, it is like comparing Libby as Julie Garland to Uma as Marilyn Monroe or Julie Newmar... Libby may be a superior singer, but she lacks the oomph that Uma gives with a more subtle film performance.
