Highlight reel of the behind the scenes footage from REP Interactive of the Burlesque Photo Shoot with OK! Magazine and Sebastian. The Burlesque Lounge has its best days behind it. Tess, a retired dancer and owner of the venue, struggles to keep the aging theater alive, facing all kinds of financial and artistic challenges. With the Lounge's troupe members becoming increasingly distracted by personal problems and a threat coming from a wealthy businessman's quest to buy the spot from Tess, the good fortune seems to have abandoned the club altogether. Meanwhile, the life of Ali, a small-town girl from Iowa, is about to change dramatically. Hired by Tess as a waitress at the Lounge, Ali escapes a hollow past and quickly falls in love with the art of burlesque. Backed by newfound friends amongst the theater's crew, she manages to fulfill her dreams of being on stage herself. Things take a dramatic turn though when Ali's big voice makes her become the main attraction of the revue.

This would have been a great piece to work on, particularly for my love of film and lighting. Being on set to shoot behind the scenes footage would have been a valuable experience. Also, my interests in lighting, specifically with interviews really brings out the creativity in the video. There's also great energy in the piece from the editing. It never feels stale or slow and keeps you engaged throughout which is very important for online videos.

I would have liked making this because it connected the people to the viewers best. Nothing tells the viewer "why" they should use the goods or services advertised like seeing other people enjoying them and especially talking about them and using them. I've always been big on having the camera (the viewer) be a second or third person as part of the conversation instead of feeling somewhat outside the experience. This video does that.

I would have loved to work on this piece. As an entertainer (I spent 13 years performing on stage) this would have been a great opportunity to combine my love of photography with my history in performance.

This is a great promotional piece for Sebastian. It is beautifully shot. The set, costumes, and color of the images is amazing. It is a highly polished pieced down to the custom lower 3rd, opening GFX and the OK magazine stills at the end. This video captures the excitement of not only the movie but the glamour of Hollywood. It's subtly pairs a product with a feature fim and hit magazine giving Sebastian industry credibility. I would have loved the entire experience of working on set!

I would have loved to work on this piece. I love cinema and being on the set of Burlesque would have been just a great experience. The interviews themselves are as beautiful as the actresses. And the editing is superb as well. I would be very proud if I worked on this.

I love this video cause it looks like a good movie, it has great cinematography and music. I especially like the dance scenes. has lots of energy. I am a filmmaker / actor and would have given anything to be a crew member in this movie.
