    WFB a terrible debater? How could he have a show like FIring Line for as long as he did by being a terrible debater. I think you need to take into account that many of his guests were truly unprepared to defend their positons and WFB was a master at showing that.

    Liberals -- read the1959 book by Buckley "Up from Liberalism" -- his observations about liberalism in the 1950s are totally relevant and proven to be true in the 21st century.

    This assumes Liberals are as open minded as they claim to be, which is doubtful.

    You are wrong on several points, but the most important one is the alleged anti-semitism. Even the liberal press has recognized Buckely for extracating the John Bircher's from the conservative movement. What is wrong with being a proponent of creationism. Doesn't that follow is Christian faith?
