On Thursday, March 18, Kathy Griffin joined a crowd gathered at Freedom Plaza in Washington D.C., calling for a repeal of Dont Ask Dont Tell.

A two-time Emmy winner for her Bravo television show My Life on the D-List, Griffin remarked that her appearance at the Human Rights Campaigns Repeal Dont Ask Dont Tell Now rally capped a week of lobbying against DADT on Capitol Hill.

@runnerboy081 So if its okay for gays to shower and sleep in the same quarters as sex they are attracked to or have feelings for why cant straight guys shower or live in the same quarters as females? does that seem unfair? I'm okay with repealing dadt but make it fair all around for all sexes, we are all soldiers male/female gay/straight. Have the same rules for everyone.

@68chargerlover i understand what you are trying to say but I dont think you fully understand why everyone was so mad about dadt. First off, im a straight guy, but i fully agree with why dadt was frustrating for gays in the military. Its not talking about your sex life but that you cant even say that you have a bf or gf (being lesbian). if straight guys can talk about their gf and fiances, why can a gay talk about their lover??

@gibletlover No I have no problems with gays serving and defending their country, infact I have some who are my friends,and i beleive dadt should have been changed or modified but not gotton rid of. I dont talk about my sex life to my fellow soldiers and I dont want to know theirs, its the mission thats top priority. And when two people who are attracked to each other M&F or M&M or F&F and LIVE and WORK TOGETHER trouble will happen.Straight soldiers dont live in the same quarters,Gays do!
