Umm, we've already got existing technologies available today to take us beyond petroleum... Solar, Wind, Geothermal, etc, etc... It's mobs like BP that hold us back.

Climate change or the so called "global scam warming" of the earth is no different than the warming that currently takes place on other planets within our solar system as well. It must be extremely coincidental that at the same time earth as well as other planets are warming sun spot activity and solar flares have also increased. Hmm, is C02 warming Jupiter as well? The truth is air pollution is bad, of course. But, it's not warming the planet 2 the extent they say. Al Gore is a $ WHORE:)
