Little Caesars 3, Jr Kings 1

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - Detroit Little Caesars scored twice in a 45-second span of the first period in defeating the Los Angeles Jr. Kings, 3-1, in a Midwest Elite Hockey League Showcase game at the Toyota Sports Center on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008.
Jack Prince and Justin Demartino gave Little Caesars the 2-0 advantage. JT Osborn countered with a power-play goal for the Jr. Kings before Jake Chelios scored Little Caesars' third goal.
Neither team scored in the second or third periods as goaltenders Joseph Rogers of Little Caesars and Billy Faust of the Jr. Kings took control. Rogers made 40 saves and Faust had 35 saves in relief.
