Nothing sent my heart a-flutter more in 1966 but the sight of Mrs Peel on TV. I actually thought she was more attractive in b/w. It made her skin look alabaster, a striking contrast to that black leather suit and her lovely dark hair .

I wished the producers had re-shot the chess board sequence when episodes began being filmned in colo(u)r in 1966.
They could have kept the same music and narration.
For those outside of the UK, the "ABC" at the end of the clip meant Associated-British Corporation (producers of thed show and then-holder of the weekend franchises for the commercial ITV network in Northern England and the Midlands), and NOT the American Broadcasting Company, which aired the series in the 'States.
