Sept. 8, 1995 was a super night for the Cleveland Indians as they clinched the American League Central Division, the first championship since 1954. The evening was also high lighted by the appearance of Cal Ripken who broke Lou Gehrig's streak of 2,130 games the night before. Hence, much pomp celebrating Ripken and the Indians championship.
Cleveland was the SHIT in 95'

If you pause right at 1:15, I swear I see a nun with a beer.

These were the days. Mid-late 90s were a great time to be an Indians fan (except they couldn't win a world series) my dad is from Parma and my dad was born in '56 and he is the biggest Indians fan alive. I hope he gets to see them win before he dies.

This is one of those iconic moments in my almost 21 years of life that reminds me how great it is to be a Cleveland fan. This also reminds me why the stadium will always be JACOBS Field, not this bullshit that they have now with progressive.
