  • Shocking. HK is almost as bad as the mainland these days. It's too bad.

  • so how did westerners stop pollution?

they didn't, they moved it to china-

everything in the earth is fucked now

europeans are responsible for most of it

they took all the land from the weak and

americans wont even sign the kyoto protocol...

the only people with the power to make change and they only interested dropping bombs on the weak and shipping the polluting jobs to china.

yeah shame on BBC, fucken propaganda

  • at 0:38, the Chinese woman is saying that "the air can affect our health" but the BBC translator says completely different

  • I used this video as a part of an exam about fossil fuel and environment :) I got A+ :D

  • the white nations are secretly scared of china, hence all the hate pointing towards them to get support for a war. easiest way to get rid of debt and own them? blame them for something and start a war.

  • w thnk that chins has everything but good air

  • As to the Global Warming BS, look at what how the adoring fans of China in the West, stay silent on, not only China's horrible Human, and Animal rights record, but especially their environmental record. They are polluting like there is no such thing as Anthropogenic Global Warming, and the silence from Alvin Gore and his Green Global Warming Chipmonks is quite revealing. Hypocrites? Liars? Maddoffs? Ask yourselves why the silence on the top polluter?

    RedRats!

  • Sickening, emotion-less animals.

  • China has a large percentage of renewables energys (fact), and plant more tree than anyone else (fact), which helps to offset carbon. Yes China has more polution, but has 4 times population- therefore an American make many times the pollution as a chinese (fact). China is trying hard and is putting more regulations in place. They not perfect, but remember that Europeans had the luxury of cheap energy for a long time. Look at up to date facts to see what China is, not rhetoric!

Bullshit! We stopped pollution because of our high enviromental standards. We are still the Number 1 economic power and yet our air is clean or at least way cleaner than Asias or middle east. I could not even imagine to to breath such air. Thank God I live in Germany.

Did China have a choice? If she did not opt for 'progress', then it would be easy for those who had 'progressed' to bully her, as they had in the past. And at present the only serious means to 'progress' China had at her disposal is being the factory of the world.

China followed a traditional way of life for millennia. It was the West in the 19th century that forced her onto this path of 'progress'.
