@ML678v One more thing though, Japan's military actions around WW2 in their brutality are totally comparable to Nazis' (see wikipedia "japanese war crimes"). Based on your arguments, if you would have had the possibility to save six million Jewish people by bombing 300 000 Germans around WW2, you would not have done it. So, you might ask again who in this discussion is supporting genocides? World is not a simple place.

@ML678v The atomic bombs stopped the genocide of Chinese carried out by Japanese who treated the Chinese worse than animals, decapitating them and burying them alive. So, I find it pretty hard to grasp how I'm supporting genocides. But maybe we should stop this discussion as it seems that logical arguments are not getting too much room here.

@ML678v At any point I have not denied or defended atrocities done in Guantanamo and I thought 9/11 was "justified" by killing "wrong believers". The terrorists' motive is to kill as much wrong believers as possible, not to save lives. If you could stop a ruthless occupier killing millions by killing 100 000 wouldn't you do that? Japanese killed 30 mln Chinese, Vietnamese etc. in WW2 and would have not stopped there. Yes, the atomic bomb victims were mostly innocent, but so were the Chinese etc.

@toolatepiano In Guatanumo are being committed atrocities and the attack of 9/11 was justified also to save lives.If you go on a tripe and when you comme back and you find that all your friends and familly have simple die and your city disappeared from the map and all you see is destruction.What You will think?Was only to save lives???There is always a justification for genocide...is called Propaganda!

@ML678v First of all, I am not at all a great fan of USA, due to e.g. the reasons you just mentioned (I follow what happens in the world). Secondly, I referred to your question on the atomic bombing, which I believe despite its huge destruction was necessary at that time. So, I do not understand your logic of going from this specific claim to Guantanamo, 9/11 and what else. They are completely irrelevant concerning the issue I was referring to.
