I don't care what people's impression of Paul Page is, but, Paul Page belongs up in the booth at Indianapolis on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Paul Page IS the VOICE OF THE INDIANAPOLIS 500!!!

the 90's was the best decade of Indy. Hands down.

Take note Michael Andretti. Penske failed to qualify for this race despite having much better drivers than Ryan Hunter Reay yet didn't buy anyones ride. Say what you want about Roger Penske but he didn't stoop to the levels Andretti Autosport did just to get an extra car in the show. He easily could have asked Bobby Rahal for Boesel's spot or Pagan racing for Roberto Guerrero's after both teams loaned them cars

@pitts40 And he's been back there, on the IMSRN, the last two years, right beside Mike King and Donald Davidson...keeping Mike reminded of the fact that this race is never over until it is over.

If penske used the Mercedes-Benz pushrod engine, they would have qualified even with a 7in boost reduction. in my opinion

@romero2k yea but look who still Going >:)

Those V6 menard buicks were fast. Pity they nearly always blew up, if they could've sorted the reliability they would be multiple indy winners. RIP Scott Brayton.

there cannot be a better intro to any car race or sporting event than the indy 500 intros, and this one is the best of all of them!

1995: 100 years ago, America's racers chased the Vanderbuilt Cup.
2011: 100 years ago, America's racers began chasing the glory which we simply now call, "THE BRICKYARD!"
May 29th, 2011 cannot get here fast enough.
Was 95 0r 96 the last "Delta Force" intro?
