The always fun New Duncan Imperials. these guys are GREAT. In this video they play Mystery Date back in April 1999. I've had this on video tape since then!

I was at the show with Mojo Nixon at the Blue Note! We made friends with these guys in college, awesome folks. Final show for Goodtime is THIS SATURDAY in Davenport!

Saw these guys on tour with Mojo Nixon at the Blue Note in Columbia Mo, on a tour sponsored by Jagermeister. The drummer came out beating on a marching band drum and passing out sparklers to the folks down on the floor. The sparklers were lit and Blue Note staff had to chase people around to retrieve. They played their entire set in the dark because the light guy was pissed off at them. They were doubling as Mojo's backing band and Mojo was irritated at the light guy. A blast!!

I first saw them back in the early 80's when they played as The Service with a sort of Psychedelic Furs sound.
They also now play as The Goldstars.
