A 2.27 min slideshow of unaltered NASA 70 mm Hasselblad photographs (AS14-68-9468 to 81) from the Apollo 14 mission showing an unidentified flying object over the lunar surface. Shot by Ed Mitchell during EVA-2 while taking a series of photographs including those of Turtle rock in the boulder field at Station H, north of the LM.

Color photographs of the same mission taken during EVA 1 show bluish lights in the lunar sky (watch?v=82RGdEuZp4I).

Music is "Cobra Fever" from Orient Express. Hopefully, both believers and sceptics will find a way to enjoy.

  • they r just bits of space rock, asteroids perhaps.

  • Might be difficult to take consecutive photos of falling asteroids hovering over the surface, isn't it?

  • @amontaiyagala The Moon IS floating space rock that orbits the earth because it is huge by comparison... and the moon is easy to take consecutive photos of, isn't it? this could just be smaller space rocks that are obiting the moon. Why do people automatically think aliens? Is it because it's way more exciting than real life?

  • aritfacts, space junk. why do people make videos like this...

  • hmm. Im not willing to rule them out. But to me it looks more like a photographic error, or dust. I believe 100% in alien life, and ETs visiting earth etc but I cant believe a craft or the effects of a craft would look like that. bit silly in my opinion, not very good evidence. Keep looking. Thanks.

  • The funny thing about these UFOs is, a lot of them not only defy explanation; they also defy description. If these were asteroids, we'd describe them as such, for we know what they look like and how they behave against the background stars when observed through telescopes. If these were photographic aberrations, then surely we'd see more of them rather than just one or two bright ones in the blackness; they'd be more obvious.

  • Stupidest comment I ever heard... You can't see stars in the Lunar sky but you can see a space rock in orbit? LOL Care to point out which asteroid? After all NASA tracks em all

The future of the Human race is doomed... if YOU are a prime sample
