  • Dead Can Dance is the one group who have pushed music to a whole new level. There is no one who can come close to their genius! Their work is gut-level and yet sends the imagination to a whole other reality. Even Enigma hasn't been able to come close!

  • Murderer! Ive seen the eyes of living dead.

Its the same game - survival. The great mass play a waiting game. Embalmed, crippled, dying in fear of pain. All sense of freedom gone. Black sun in a white world. Like having a black sun in a white world. I have a son,

His name is eden. Its his birthright, Beyond estranged time. Give me 69 years, Another season in this hell. Its all sex and death as far as I can tell.

  • @Koontah I agree in general - except the comparison with Enigma: looks a bit incorrect as a comparison of products of two absolutely different genres. Enigma is simply an electronic ambient music with some ethnic elements as a brand feature. But DCD really are pioners and still leaders of ethnic instrumental stylization. I love both projects, but DCD, maybe, is more loved as an example of making a great hard work over the resurgence of an ancient sound and musical heritage - making dead dance.

  • Hands down my favorite song from Dead can Dance. Brendan Perry can sing me to sleep every night!

  • muito bom esse show do dead can dance deixa muita bamda conhecida no mercado internacional muito mais divulgada no chinelo

  • Saw them perform this at the Los Angeles stop of that same tour. Same as this, they played it too fast, and same as this, the keyboard brass was terrible. One of the very few low points of the show.

  • it's not a human voice: it's a thunder!

  • @tasimana Brendan was born in London to an Irish mother and an English father.

  • @Koontah Dead right on.

  • a truly remarkable band - 2 great singers and instrumentation and arrangements of such depth and beauty - not bad for a few aussies!!
