I adore the imagery of this. Living in New York, I can see every bit of this, but you portray it so well for even outsiders. The last 4 verses and the line about devouring the McMuffin are my favourite parts :)

I agree. When I sit down to write I never know how it's going to turn out. The only thing I know for sure is that I love to write. I want to describe the world around me and share my thoughts and ideas.
Then I want to stand in front of an audience and have my words ring out crisp and clear. Is this ok?
