  • @daz636 Thanks daz636!

  • i have 10 cardinals in my 36 gallon tank, its been set up for about 5 months now and the main difference i notice is that your cardinals are extremely red, mines are a very light red, kinda like a red/white mixture on their belly, i want mine to be red like yours. is there special food your feeding them cause i hear some brands are better then others. can you give me the info on how you care for your cardinals? like food, water temp and all the stuff that can effect their coloration? thanks!

  • @infamousgook The food is all frozen, brine shrimp and blood worms. But by the description your giving it almost sounds like you mite have neon tetras, cardinals have a red line all the way down there body. There is lots of info on the earlier posts to.

  • What kind of substrate are u using? its awesome

  • At 0:13 the one shrimp backs away like he's saying "DAMN he means business...." then he comes back quickly like "maybe he will compromise"

  • what fish are the neon blue and red

  • them rummys are in good condition :)

  • You've got an awesome tank!! There was a fight in my tank over an algae disc between 3 amano shrimp, a peppered catfish, and a flying fox. The Flying Fox got pretty physical too!

  • Cute ^_^ Love the tank and the fish too.

  • Beautiful aquarium and fish :)

  • @infamousgook Three simple things to make cardinals color really pop:

    1. Low PH. They like acidic water of 6.6 PH or lower.

    2. Soft water. They like a general hardness (GH) < 5 degrees, a carbonate hardness (KH) < 1 degree. You can buy testing kits for GH and KH to see how soft your water already is. To make water softer you can mix your tap water with distilled water to dilute the dissolved minerals during water change.

    3. Feed Earthworm, brineshrimp, and bloodworm to enhance red colors

  • you have my fav tetras in there nice tank
