It makes absolutely no sense to have an Asian country, only 3% of Turkey's land mass is in continental Europe.
The EU has enough problems guarding the small border between Turkey and Greece to prevent illegal from comming into Europe. How is it going to guard the border Turkey shares with the arab world?
Not only would Turkey's prescence bring the destruction of European culture but also flood the job market for cheap labour taking away jobs from Europeans.

@duygu03 lets get a fix on todays reality. Turkey's wide open of EU membership.So all you baby boomers and cashed up retirees why not head that way? Buy up all the prime property, bring in your grandkids and get them to start making babies.Lets face it, the climate in Turkey is far more liveable than in entire Europe. Turn Turkey into the land of the hedonistic west's playground. You may after mussies wake up to what you were to have to forfity your villas and have armed escorts to go to beach.
