Headshots on Garry's mod do unusually High Damage, while in Half-Life 2, they cause quadruple damage, means you need to shoot a CP with 2 pistol shots to the head in the start of the game, the later ones take 3 shots to the head, like Combine Soldier do.

Combine Elite then again have an even higher health, and take 5 pistol shots to the head, on Hard Difficulty.

@TheFunkyBones on hard, they died in two hits. Not sure about the overwatch, but the Civil Protection dies in two headshots.
