do i need to do anything to the phone before i use stealthsim (other than jailbreak it)??

no just jailbrake and back to 1.1.2

activate and jailbrake first, thene reupgrade to 1.1.2 and install iWorld. Of it says "no sim" then it means the chips dont make propper contact. I used some tape to make sure they dont move. hope this helps. (mine was also 1.1.2 OTB)

my iphone was an OOB 1.0.2, if i uprade and jailbreak 1.1.2 will the stealthsim work??

Got 2 stealthsim, both work on 2 different iPhones OTB 1.1.2

Have a stealthsim and works perfectly. "Locked sim" indeed meens that the password is needed, els it says "use valid sim". I had to downgrade from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1, activate and jailbrake, and then upgrade again to 1.1.2 and install iWorld. Now I use Mobistar in Belgium! ps: i didn't buy it from this guy, but from the official dealer. google for it!
