Here is my rendition of a classic piece from the legendary Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute".
What you see in the video is just the lead guitar part - if you listen to the other guitars as well you'll notice I tried to replicate all the notes as written with distorted guitars.

As always thank you so much and I hope you enjoy!

  • @snowbirdybird I would even do another version an octave higher, get the WAH pedal in there maybe...just a thought

  • YES! I am so happy you did this, I'm so gonna practice to it

  • @PedrOxt2 Fuck that, splitscreen :3

  • Great

  • Tab ?

  • @spookmineer Y'know.. If you feel that you can do a better job with more "expression"... you could always post a video of you covering it? Especially since it's so "easy" - And I disagree entirely. I don't think this is harder to sing than it is to play on guitar. With proper training a singer can go as high as he/ she wants. A singer's only actual limitation is how low he/ she can go.

  • @StandardFiend By no means did I mean to invalidate the music, I love it. I only meant that this aria is a very demanding piece for an opera singer, where it's much easier to play this on a guitar, or piano etc.

Where is the anger in this guitar cover? Hardly overtones and no wah to give the music any expression, a bit of bite.

  • @JamesF310790 It's in a classic video game called "Die Zaubeflote." It's on like a REALLY old system.

  • @spookmineer well, ooh la la! Lol. Relax! It's a great piece of music. To invalidate by claiming that its only merit is the soprano reaching for that extremely high register is disrespectful and just makes you look like a pompous blowhard. And FYI, it is VERY difficult to play patterns like that on the higher end of the guitar neck.

  • @tfkxero nm you did i just missed it and it was better
