@bluedragon636 ...especially if you're English--where do you think the word "soccer" comes from? Around 1880, there were several versions of related sports--rugby football, association ("soccer") football, etc. So it makes sense to call it soccer in a country where we have American / NFL football, which is not going to go away, to differentiate it. So go rag on some Italians for calling it "calcio."

Something to note is that there are a lot of foreign players in MLS, like in the European Leagues.

I agree with you. It seems football/soccer is one of the most territorial sports out there, so it fosters a lot of hate between clubs, let alone countries.

It's completely stupid to me.

MLS is improving all the time, and I say the more the merrier.
