Everyone Knows in business being careful with promises, but some are greedy psychopath conmen.
London Riots 1000's national protest against government plans to raise the cap on tuition fees and Nick Clegg's broken promises and lies to students.

Around one hundred people are reported to have been involved, forcing their entry through a window and proceeding to wreak havoc inside the foyer of the building.

This is a fraction of the estimated 50,000 protesters that took part in the march and students are concerned about the negative image that the otherwise peaceful protest may have been branded with.

Josh Parry, a student studying at Liverpool John Moores University said: "I understand that people are passionate about the subject but at the same time I don't agree with violent protesting and I think it took away from our message."

Lauren Callington, studying at the University of Liverpool agreed and added: "To be fair it was only a small portion of the students that were involved in the attack, the vast majority were not involved."

"However, it does reflect how angry people are. They didn't vote for this massive increase in tuition fees and they want to show how they feel. It has brought the attention of the media, but maybe for the wrong reasons."

Hundreds of students, lecturers, family and friends made the journey to join the march and there are no reports of any of the Liverpool protesters being involved in the Millbank incident.

Most of the people that demonstrated yesterday shared the same goals when protesting against the coalition's plans to uncap tuition fees, but many of the students had personal reasons for getting involved.

Vanessa Gainford of LJMU said: "It is very important to me as I want my younger brother Mark to have the same opportunities as myself and for him to experience University!"

Whereas Steph Lambert, from the University of Liverpool explained that: "I wanted to show my support as I currently study German at degree level. These cuts will threaten my degree and if the funding is cut, it could cease to exist. I don't want to see languages suffer."

students will remain hopeful that they have had some impact on the proposals. Ashlee Moore, student voice coordinator for the John Moores student union, summarised the event: "I thought the day was fantastic overall but we will just have to wait and see what the outcome of the protest will be."

"It got out of hand towards the end of the march, but that really wasn't a fair reflection of the thousands of people that got involved. I am very proud of Liverpool and our students!"
