@Isolvedit Ah yes, my first car was a 1966 Caprice 2-door hard-topped Convertible Sport Coupe! It actually said all of that on the title!! Had a giant theater speaker in the middle of the back seat! I was one rockin' chick back then, lol!!

@Isolvedit hey man, we are still capable of looking for old albums or finding great songs right here. the rest of my generation may be happy living as and angry vegitable, but not me, youtube is my time machine.. Well that and a couple joints :D, keep on rockin man, ignore these new phases, im only twenty and i only lived through the late ninety's but i refuse to live like these kids, its still 1967 in my appartment.

the lead singer is felix cavallero.

the thing that gets me is that they never re-formed because Felix has publicly denigrated Gene Cornish over the years as a really sub-standard guitarist...? i'm a guitar player and i think Gene is one of my favorite guys from the 60's because he played melodically and it perfectly suited the Rascal's soulful love songs. it's like saying George Harrison was a lousy player or Steve Cropper...it makes no sense. he's also downed Eddie Brigati. guy has burned all his bridges.

Great tune. The lip synching for tv was always so weird. Such a shame the band imploded not too long after this.

Dino looks like a dead ringer for McCartney while Felix looks like Charlie Manson.
Great song!!

Paul McCartney on drums.....cool

I believe the Rascals were among the groups that were the definition of "blue-eyed soul" ... Chicago was another and I think the Righteous Bros. also qualify. This was music that you could listen to with the volume turned UP. I must have worn out Timepeace ... still love this stuff. It's still got magic.
Why are bands not capable of these great tunes and songs?
EASY. Nobody is hungry enough, and everybody keeps copying everybody else with the same UGLY, loud beat.
Me, I'm buying today a Chevy convertible from 1967, when these songs permeated the air, and we weren't so serious...living for the day, enjoying good tunes and music.

Im African American and this group despite what you call them was a top soul group of the 60's and 70's. What a great talent. You cannot find music like this anymore. Coltrane, Stan Getz, Dave Brubeck, Credence Clearwater Revival, Jimmy Hnedrix, Earth Wind and Fire. All gone and can only be duplicated but never mastered. I was only a kid during the 70's but what a wonderful time it was.
