Even though Ortiz's name was on the list, he could still be innocent. Micheal Weiner said that it's impossible for every player who was on the list to have tested positive for steroids. There were 104 people on the list and 83 confirmed positive tests. And the 83 confirmed positive tests could have been by less than 83 people. So, no one has proof that he is guilty, but everyone listens to and believes what the media has to say. If Ortiz says that he is innocent, then I believe him.

I really, really, really don't see how steroids can improve a players game in baseball. Since when has muscle power increased your ability to swing at the right time or hit the ball? I've got barely any muscle compared to these guys and if I hit the ball sweetly I can knock it the length of the field... I hate steroid users and cheats but in my opinion, baseball is one of those sports where it really isn't affected since it's mostly about technique. Although I spose maybe pitchers would improve?
