Goyagma

The sixth (again actual boss) boss in Metroid: Other M.

Goyagma is a big lava beast that rises out of lava (obviously). Killing it is the only way to stop the flow of the Pyrosphere volcano. The battle isn't hard; it's actually very fun.

First, you race up the interior while the volcano increases with lava. You avoid Novas and Dessgeegas and jump up to the top. There are breaks in the ground with lava, you don't have your Varia Suit and the Goyagma will try to grab you. Don't EVER let it do this. Not now, not ever. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!

After you make it up to the top, Adam will let you use the Varia Suit. Goyagma will then grab you (no avoiding) and you must charge shot your way out of its grip. There's a glowing red spot on its neck, this is the weak point. You need to fire fire fire at it until it freezes over. If the Goyagma looks like it's about to do a backstroke in its lava pool, you have to do it all over again. Blast it with a Missile before this happens. You repeat that and then its arms start to flame. It will slam its hands into the crater rim and cause geysers of flame to appear. You dodge them until the Goyagma's hand begins to glow and it stops slamming. You have to freeze it over with a charge shot and then run up its arm to Overblast its brains out. You do that twice (with an epic finishing move) and it dies.
