Farshid Amin at Oracle Arena singing the National Anthem

An "Iranian Heritage Night" was put together for Hamed Haddadi, the first Iranian-American basketball player in the NBA, (playing Center for the Memphis Grizzlies), playing against the Warriors at Oracle Arena. This event also featured Farshid Amini singing the national anthem as well as Niosha Dance Academy performing a pregame dance. Iranican Interviewed Farshid about his performance and he responded that he "was overwhelmed with emotion as I thought for a moment I was singing at the Azadi Stadium."
