This is a huge turbine powered C-17 From ALS Hobbies. If I recall correctly, the builder will build anyone this for about $50,000, but also has a smaller version of it.

  • wow! great plane! the real one can hold 245 000 lbs of fuel. impressive.

this model is so big, soon the FAA is going to require a sports pilot licence to fly it!

  • That is simply outstanding! I've done quite a few trips in those as an Army guy taking our MH-60's some where. It would be very cool if you could modify the plane to down load an R/C heli.

  • @mrswagerondeckk well, that's ali machinchi. he's got a few mil to burn and is also a distributor of several thousands rc products, including jetcat, wren, and skymaster jets. his career is also his hobby. like last week he spent the week at best of the west rc jet rally in california that lowell wexler was putting on. a lot of his jets are on here too. where does he get his money? commercial realty. others people build from scratch, or build kits for others to pay for it. no novices.

  • @b101aa2 ok ok whatever i understand thats fun! but my point was where do you get $50,000 for a RC plane? are you rich or retired? and i was thinking it was crazy because if you crash it your done

  • @mrswagerondeckk i fly real planes and rc jets. it's really, whatever floats your boat. some people waste their money on cars, some on boats, some on really stupid stuff like hillbilly stock cars... but to people that are plane nuts, this is a big piece of enjoyment. and it sure beats the tards that waste a few thousand in bars every year, or drug addicts. At least this is blowing your money on something constructive instead of douchebagery or being a scumbag.

  • @b101aa2 true, but its a REAL plane atleast. and since the plane is 50,000 imagine what you can get

  • @mrswagerondeckk older run down planes, that are not equipped with updated avionics and in need of a little tlc. aerotrader, 1947 stinson, $19,900. Your're not going to find much modern for $20,000. Even a 1969 Piper Archer is $40,000 and up.

  • @b101aa2 dude wtf ! go to aerotrader com youll find lots of good planes for that much

  • @mrswagerondeckk you can buy a real plane for $20,000? where? if it's worth anything tell me where so i can go buy it. only $20,000 planes i see around are ultralights and really old planes like c-150's with 20,000 hours on the airframes. Even my KR2S cost about $35,000. And that's cheap.

  • i can buy a real plane for $20,000. imagine what i can buy for $50,000. wtf screw a model airplane for that much

  • what size turbines are u running p what??? and how much pounds of thrust is each one kicking?

  • on 0:39 this plane looks so damn real!
