Ich habe Corux Corax in zwei Mal in Speyer und ein Mal in Kaiserslautern live auf dem Mittelalter Markt gesehen. Möge Fortuna Dir gewogen sein

its about the wheel of fortune. a spinning wheel that drags some up into the heights, but staying on top is impossible for extended periods of time, because the wheel of fortune keeps on spinning. eventually everyone falls down again.

that is, as i see it, the essence of the lyrics. there are artworks depicting it, where you see happy people being pulled up, the struggle at the top, and people falling down on the other side. its about fate, and chance is a bad translation.

i just love their unplugged concerts at the Kaltenberger Ritterturnier. with unplugged i want to say: no amps, and no electricity except for stage lighting. hundreds of people can clearly hear the voice of the lead singer, and all the instruments they use are so powerful that no amplification is required for a live concert in front of 500+ people. its something so totally different from any other bands i know.
