Good video man. Having raced mx 73-83 I can relate . Your pics, bikes, even the crowds look similar to my old pics even though I was in the northeast. 70's mx rocked. People were cool, bikes were starting to get good suspension and the tracks were natural terrain.

Those were the days I think it was better than today
now it is all jumping. We used to go uphills down hills
through creeks over grass Remember Marysville or
Plymouth tracks

Beeline Raceway in the mid seventies, I loved that place. Had a CR125 and raced with my two brothers out there. Good times

70'smoto x was the best....natural tracks and terrain..nowdays its gone all jump mad.! no good for the average weekend warrior...thats y i have gone enduro..!

Great vid. I still see a lot of these old machines at the races I go to. They have a series of races out here on the east coast dedicated to vintage machines. I race modern and an '85 CR 500. But seeing those '70's bikes on display and even tearing it up on the track is awesome. I had the privilege of meeting Jimmy Wienert who graced us with his presence the last few races. It was great. Thanks for the vid, and remember, when in doubt.......GAS IT!!!
