That's really interesting, because both "Nanny McPhee" movies remind me indeed on Walt Disney's "Mary Poppins" and "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" (Angela Lansbury has a role in the first film too!).
The irony is, the original Mary Poppins, not the Disney one, I mean that one in the books by P.L. Travers has pretty much the same character as "Nurse Mathilda".

actaully your wrong she is coming back she will be returning for a few scenes in the last 2 films its been comfirmed weather they edit it out or not is up to the director seeing as she has a small part

Actually, she is in the latest HP film. There's even proof of her saying that she doesn't know who said that she wouldn't be (probably a misquotation before), but she was always going to do it and has already filmed her scenes. I bet that'll make many HP fans happy. :D
Just because you weren't happy at first, doesn't make Nanny McPhee garbage though. :)
