In months past, I covered this song on the drums, but for the first time, I've covered a song on 2 instruments. WOO HOO! lol. Thank you Lord.

I've been working on this song for a little bit now. I love the message. When you accept Jesus as your Savior, He becomes your everything.

My 6 year old son, Landon, is featured in this vid w/ me for the first time ever. He's my bud. Ain't he a handsome thing. Looks just like his daddy. lol. Pay no attention to my singing. I was concentrating so much on his playing, that I sped the song up a little bit by accident. It was late and he was getting kinda tired, as you can tell. I'm trying to teach him the drums and thought I'd work on his rhythm first. I preach once a month at a retirement home and he played along w/ me on this one last month. I've got him playing an egg shaker. And take note of him switching hands and still keeping rhythm. Yeah, that's my boy! lol

We only practiced this song together maybe 3 times over the past week and recorded only 1 take. So, w/ that in mind, I thought he did really well.

capo 3, the original is 6. chorus is D2, A4, Bm7, G and towards the end there's a D/F#. the verse is pretty much the same, but there's an Em7 in there

yep, posted about 8 mos or so. he started lessons in Sept. of last year, if that was what you were referring to

thanx friend. i picked it up by ear. wish i had lessons. that's why i'm getting my son started on lessons. i'm trying to pick up the piano this year as well
